How would you explain this Martin Luther King's statement?

The basic thing he meant was that if one injustice was allowed to happen then others would soon follow. IE: Never allow one evil or soon evil will take over. The current climate in France were woman are second class citizens, men run everything. Candidate for presidency was arrested in New York for sexual misconduct on a chambermaid. Woman of France have started to organize to bring equality to them. This the most mild issue I can think of without bringing up China's system. I hope this helps. Bob C.
