Girls: Thoughts on guys clothes?

Whether you wanna rant, or actually help me out: I am a guy, 16 years old. With zero intention of sounding like an asshole people used to tell me I am good looking. I have been feeling self conscious for whatever reason, and idk what to do about girls. I really like a girl who I believe to be interested in me but is also kind of a tease. I was wondering if any girls would divulge the type of clothes they like seeing guys in, or how they like them to act. Realistically, what do girls want guys to do. Do they expect us to carry the weight? Should a guy always ask the girl out, or should they make a move first? What should one go through to ask out a girl? I have done it before, but my relationships didn't work out too well. How can I produce a successful relationship? But also how do I know she is the one?
