Grade level equivalent to the philippines.?

k, im looking at my application form of one university in the philippines. and on the principal's recommendation latter, it says that the principal needs to fill up a chart of my grades. and it says there first year, second year, and third year. i was wondering if grade 10 is equivalent to 4th year high school? if so, should he (principal) fill out the chart using my grade 7, 8, 9 grades? ohh btw, i finish 3rd year high school in the philippine before we move here in canada. can i use my grades in the philippines instead and use my grade 10 or grade 12 (which ever fits the best) as my 4th year high school mark?
